Education
Greene County is home to fully accredited public schools. The current total enrollment is 2,810 students. Greene County elects its School Board.
Eighty-two percent of the class of 2007 will continue formal education after graduation. Of these, about 1/2 will attend four-year institutions. The other half will attend community college, specialized trade schools or join the military.
