The Rapidan Center project is a mixed-use commercial project that is approved for 500,000 square feet of commercial development. All utilities are in place and the site is ready to begin construction. This will be a prime location for Defense Contractors looking to locate less than 3 miles from the NGIC/DIA facility in northern Albemarle. FCI’s experience in meeting the needs of defense contractors at our former Metro Park project in Fairfax, Virginia puts us in a position to design and build class “A” office buildings to meet your needs. The retail section of the Rapidan Center is a prime location for any big box or large retailer looking to enter the Charlottesville market and provide easy access to customers living in the fast growing northern segment of the market. Just minutes from the new Wal-mart and Lowe's project, this will be a prime location for business. Once the off-site road improvements are in place, there will be at least eight out parcels available with frontage on Route 29.
